§ 42-6.1-3. Purpose of cabinet.
The governor's commerce and workforce coordination cabinet shall provide for the integration
            and coordination of the activities of the various agencies and departments that are
            involved in the development of the Rhode Island economy and its workforce and ensure
            the consistent implementation of the economic development policy and strategic plan
            developed in accordance with § 42-64.17-1.
