§ 42-6-7. Functions of abolished agencies.
All powers, duties, and functions heretofore exercised by any division, bureau, or
            other agency abolished by chapter 660 of the Public Laws of 1939, or by the chief
            of any such division, bureau, or agency, shall be exercised by the head of the department
            or by the agency to which they are assigned in this title.
