§ 42-45.1-9. Reservation of lands from sale by state properties committee.

Upon written recommendation to the state properties committee by the state historical preservation commission, the state properties committee may reserve from sale any state lands, including lands forfeited to the state for nonpayment of taxes, on which sites or artifacts are located or may be found, as designated by the commission; provided, however, that the reservation of these lands from sale may be confined to the actual location of the site or artifacts.
