§ 42-45.1-12. Enforcement of chapter — Assistance by other agencies.

The attorney general of the state of Rhode Island shall have the power to bring an action in the name of the state of Rhode Island in any court of competent jurisdiction for restraining orders and injunctive relief to restrain and enjoin violations or threatened violations of this chapter, and for the return of items taken in violation of the provisions hereof. The chief administrative officers of all state agencies are authorized and directed to cooperate and assist the state historical preservation commission and the attorney general in carrying out the intent of this chapter.
