§ 42-45.1-11. Field investigations on privately owned lands — Communication of knowledge of archeological
               sites.
It is the declared intention of the general assembly that field investigations on
            privately owned lands should be conducted in accordance with both the provisions and
            spirit of this chapter; and persons having knowledge of the location of archaeological
            sites are encouraged to communicate the information to the state historical preservation
            commission.
