§ 42-28-6. Superintendent's bond — Reports.

Before entering upon the duties of the superintendent's office, the superintendent shall file with the secretary of state a bond to the state of Rhode Island in the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) with a surety or sureties to be approved by the general treasurer conditioned upon the faithful performance of the superintendent's duties, and the premium on that bond shall be paid out of the appropriation for expenses of the division.
