§ 42-28-27. Supervision of school.
The superintendent of the state police shall have supervision of the municipal police
            training school and shall establish a course of training and make all necessary rules
            and regulations relative to the education, physical standards, and personal character
            of the candidates and trainees and such other regulations as shall not be inconsistent
            with law.
