§ 42-28-25. State and municipal police training school established.

(a) Within the Rhode Island state police there is hereby created and established a state and municipal police training school.

(b) The superintendent of the state police shall have supervision of the state and municipal police training academy and shall establish standards for admission and a course of training. The superintendent shall report to the governor and general assembly a plan for a state and municipal police training academy on or before December 31, 1993.
