§ 42-28-20. Attorney general as legal advisor.

The attorney general shall act as the legal advisor of the members of the division in all matters pertaining to their official duties, and shall prosecute all suits and proceedings that they may be authorized to commence, and shall appear for and defend them in all suits and proceedings that may be brought against any one of them in his or her official capacity, except at a hearing upon removal.
