§ 42-28-15. Buildings, stations, garages, and barracks.

The superintendent shall from time to time establish headquarters or substations in such localities as the superintendent shall deem most suitable for the protection of the rural and suburban portions of the state and for the efficient performance of police duty in all parts of the state, and for that purpose the superintendent may, with the approval of the governor, acquire the right to use lands and buildings for the accommodation of the division, but not for a period in excess of five (5) years.
