§ 42-28-11. Powers of superintendent — Rules and regulations.

The superintendent shall be the executive and administrative head of the state police, and the superintendent is hereby authorized, subject to the approval of the governor, to make rules and regulations not inconsistent with law for the examination and qualifications of applicants for appointment to the state police, for the discipline, control, and removal of the other members, and relating to reimbursement for expenses properly incurred in the performance of their official duties, including an allowance for subsistence in an amount not less than six hundred dollars ($600) per annum for
