§ 42-27-5. The governor authorized to enter into an agreement with federal authorities.
The governor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the proper authorities
            of the federal government for the transfer of regulatory responsibilities from the
            United States Atomic Energy Commission to the state of Rhode Island when such an agreement
            is recommended by the Rhode Island atomic energy commission under the powers and duties
            of the commission as set forth in this chapter.
