§ 42-26.1-1. "Public corporationâ€� defined.
The term "public corporationâ€�, for the purposes of this chapter, means the state of
            Rhode Island or any political subdivision thereof, any incorporated municipality therein
            or any public agency of this state or of any political subdivision thereof, or of
            any municipality therein, or any corporate municipal instrumentality of the state
            or of this state and one or more other states.
