§ 42-23-5. Succession to previous commissions — Reports — Expenses.
The commission on interstate cooperation shall exercise all powers and duties formerly vested by law upon the commission on foreign and domestic commerce, the commission on interstate cooperation, and the commission on interstate compacts affecting labor and industry, which commissions were abolished by chapter 660 of the Public Laws of 1939. The commission on interstate cooperation may report its proceedings and recommendations either to the governor or to the general assembly or both, at such times as it may deem advisable.
