§ 42-17.1-13. Duties and limitations.

Members of the auxiliary marine patrol shall be equipped with uniforms prescribed by the director and delegated specific powers and duties consistent with those now granted to other members of the department of environmental management and divisions thereof. They may bear and use firearms only when specifically authorized to do so by the director and only when in uniform and assigned to active duty.
