§ 42-162-1. Legislative findings.
The general assembly finds and declares that:
(1) The 2021 act on climate establishes mandatory, economy-wide greenhouse gas emissions
            reduction targets; and
         
(2) To meet these goals, Rhode Island must accelerate its adoption of more sustainable
            transportation solutions, including electric vehicles; and
         
(3) The widespread adoption of electric vehicles will necessitate investment in and deployment
            of electric vehicle charging infrastructure; and

The general assembly finds and declares that:
