§ 42-16.1-7. Appointment of board members.

In January of each odd-numbered year, the governor shall submit to the senate the name of a person to act as a member of the board of review to succeed the member of the board whose term will next expire, and to hold office for a term of six (6) years and until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. Whenever the governor shall submit any name to the senate, the senate may within twelve (12) legislative days confirm or reject that appointment. If the senate shall fail for twelve (12) legislative days after the submission to confirm the appointment, the governor shall submit another appo
