§ 42-144-2. Mission and term of commission.
The commission shall have as its mission the proposal of specific actions to strengthen
            the position of the University of Rhode Island as a national competitive public research
            university and a key institution in Rhode Island's effort to strengthen its innovative
            economy. The commission shall expire on September 30, 2008.
