§ 42-144-1. Commission established.

There shall be a University of Rhode Island Commission for Research and Innovation ("Commission�) to consist of nine (9) members: two (2) of whom shall be appointed by the governor, with one of those so appointed to be designated by the governor as chair; one of whom shall be appointed by the board of governor's for higher education; one of whom shall be appointed by the president of the University of Rhode Island; three (3) of whom shall be members of the science and technology advisory council as established by executive order 05-07; one of whom shall be appointed by the speaker of the house of rep
