§ 42-12.5-7. Penalties for violations.

(a) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter, or any regulations issued pursuant to this chapter, or who shall intentionally make any false statement or reports to the director with reference to the matters contained herein, shall, upon conviction for the first offense, be imprisoned for a term not exceeding six

(6)months or be fined not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500), or both, and for a second or subsequent offense, shall be imprisoned for a term not exceeding one year or be fined not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or both the fine and imprisonment.
