§ 42-12.4-4. Public hearings and recommendations.
The chairpersons of the house finance committee and senate finance committee shall
            hold public hearings on such additional proposed legislation, if proposed, to determine
            whether or not such legislation satisfies the goals enumerated herein and would result
            in substantial new opportunities for the medical assistance program on a cost-neutral
            basis over a period not to exceed five (5) years.
