§ 42-12.1-3. Transfer of functions from the former department of social welfare.

There are hereby transferred to the director of the department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals:

(1) Those functions of the former department of social welfare that are administered through or with respect to the division of curative services, to include generally and specifically the hospitals, mental institutions, and other similar agencies (titles 14, 26 and 40); the division of business services to include generally and specifically all central management, financial, and other services concerned
