§ 42-102-6. Powers and duties.

(a) Strategic statewide employment-and-training plan.

(1) The board shall meet with other entities involved with career and technical education, workforce development, and career training and shall be responsible for the development of a comprehensive and cohesive, statewide employment-and-training plan. The strategic, statewide employment-and-training plan shall include goals and objectives for serving the state's existing and emerging workforce utilizing all state and federal workforce development programs.
