§ 40.1-21-9. Transfer of records.

Unless otherwise expressly provided by this chapter, the head of a department, division, or other administrative agency, whose functions, powers, and duties are assigned and transferred by this chapter to the department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals, shall deliver to the department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals all contracts, books, maps, plans, papers, records, and property of every description that is within the jurisdiction or control of the head of a department, division, or other administrative agency.
