§ 40.1-1-3.1. New title for department.
(a) Wherever in the general or public laws, or any rule or regulation, any reference to the "department of mental health, retardation and hospitals� or to "department� shall appear, it shall be deemed to mean and shall mean "the department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals.�
(b) Wherever in the general or public laws, or any rule or regulation, there appears any reference to "mental retardation� or "retardation� as it relates to developmental disabilities, said reference shall be deemed to mean and shall mean "developmental
