§ 4-4-2. Compensation of commissioners and veterinarians — Duties — Removal.
Subject to chapter 4 of title 36, the director of environmental management is authorized to fix the compensation of
            the cattle commissioners and veterinary surgeons, to prescribe their duties, and to
            remove them when deemed expedient.
