§ 4-2-15. Severability.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this chapter shall for any reason be
            judged invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, that judgment shall not affect,
            impair, or invalidate the remainder of the chapter but shall be confined in its operation
            to the clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of the chapter directly involved in the
            controversy in which that judgment has been rendered.
