§ 4-18-13. Exceptions.
The department upon application may grant variances from the requirements of these
            regulations as it determines are authorized by law and will not result in hazard to
            the public health. Those applications, and variances made, shall be in writing and
            any variances granted under this section shall set forth conditions designed to protect
            the public health, and shall be granted only for a specified period.
