§ 4-13-34. Correction of defects in prosecutions.
Any defect in any action, complaint and warrant, indictment or other proceeding commenced
            and prosecuted under this chapter, either of form or substance, may be amended by
            the court before which the action, complaint and warrant or indictment is originally
            brought or may be pending.
