§ 4-1-7. Live poultry containers.
Any crate or other container used for the purpose of transporting, shipping, or holding
            for sale any live poultry shall be in a sanitary condition and shall be constructed
            so as to provide sufficient ventilation and warmth and the poultry, while in that
            container, shall receive any reasonable care as may be required to prevent unnecessary
            suffering. Any person violating any provision of this section shall, for each offense,
            be imprisoned not exceeding fifteen (15) days or be fined not exceeding one hundred
            dollars ($100), or both.
