§ 37-7-13. Surplus group homes.

Any group home purchased or built by the state of Rhode Island and licensed pursuant to § 40.1-24-3, which is no longer used to house persons with disabilities and is vacant for a period of one year, must be offered for sale on the private housing market forthwith and shall thereafter remain under the jurisdiction of the zoning enforcement officer and the zoning code of that municipality in which the home is located.
