§ 37-23-11. Appeals.

Any person, firm, entity or corporation who has been assessed a penalty may appeal such to the director within twenty (20) days of receipt of the cease and desist order. The director of the department of labor and training shall refer said appeal to the board. The board, upon completion of any appeal held on a verified complaint, shall present to the director of labor and training, a written report of its findings and recommendations. The director may accept or reject, in whole or in part, the recommended order of the board. The order of the director is final, and a copy of the order shall be immediately served upon
