§ 35-6-4. Uniform system of accounting — Enforcing compliance by state departments.

(a) If any state department or agency fails to install and maintain the uniform system of accounting, or to keep its accounts and interdepartmental records, or refuses or neglects to make the reports and to furnish the information in accordance with the method prescribed by the department of administration, or hinders or prevents the examination of accounts and financial records, or hinders or prevents the visits and inspections provided for in this chapter, the department may make a report to the governor in writing, specifying the nature and extent of the fa
