§ 31-44-11. Fiscal autonomy.
All license and permit fees collected pursuant to this chapter, and any fines collected
            by the department of business regulation for violations related to licenses and permits
            shall be held and used as specified under § 31-44-1.6. Any revenue received in excess of the department's expenses used as specified in
            this chapter shall be carried forward as specified under § 31-44-1.6(c).
