§ 31-38-8. Improper representation as official station.

(a) No person shall in any manner represent any place as an official inspection station unless the station is operating under a valid permit issued by the director of the department of revenue or the director's designee.

(b) No person other than a state certified employee of an inspection station shall issue a certificate of inspection and approval.
