§ 31-32-7. Action in respect to nonresidents.
Whenever the division of motor vehicles suspends or revokes a nonresident's operation
            privilege by reason of a conviction or forfeiture of bail, the privilege shall remain
            suspended or revoked unless the person shall have previously given or shall immediately
            give and maintain proof of financial responsibility for the future.
