§ 31-3-35. Notice of change of name.
Whenever the name of any person who has applied for or obtained the registration of
            a vehicle is subsequently changed by marriage or otherwise, that person shall within
            ten (10) days notify the division of motor vehicles of the former and current names.
            Violations of this section are subject to fines enumerated in § 31-41.1-4.
