§ 31-3-30. Accident chasing by tow trucks.

It shall be unlawful for any tow car or tow truck to be at the scene of a motor vehicle accident unless summoned by the participants in that accident or by the owners of the respective vehicles involved in that accident. Any owner of any tow car or tow truck or his or her duly authorized agent, if found guilty of violating the provisions of this section, shall be fined not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00) for the first offense and for any subsequent offense shall be fined not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00) and have his or her special registration certificate suspended by the administrator of
