§ 31-3-17. Volunteer fire company plates.

(a) The administrator of the division of motor vehicles shall, upon approved application, issue annually to any member of any duly incorporated volunteer fire company in this state, so long as he or she remains a member of the volunteer fire company, a special identifying number plate which shall be attached to the motor vehicle of the member of the volunteer fire company in conjunction with the regular number plates assigned to the member of the fire company at the time of the registration of the vehicle.
