§ 31-22-11.5. Use of school bus with suspended registration — Penalty.
No registered owner, school superintendent, or driver shall use or allow to be used
            any school bus for transporting children after notification that the bus registration
            has been suspended for failure to appear for its scheduled inspection or for failure
            to pass the inspection. The registered owner of the bus shall be fined an amount not
            to exceed five hundred dollars ($500) for each day the bus is used to transport children
            in violation of this chapter.
