§ 31-2-25. Surrender of suspended license.
Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a licensee whose license has been suspended
            shall not be required to surrender the license to the division of motor vehicles for
            the period of suspension. In the event a licensee is found to be operating a motor
            vehicle while under suspension, the license shall be seized by the proper officer
            and returned to the division of motor vehicles for the remainder of the suspension
            period.
