§ 30-8-8. Rhode Island national guard emergency service ribbon.
(a) Whenever members of the national guard are ordered into state service pursuant to the provisions of § 30-2-5 or 30-2-6, then the Rhode Island national guard emergency service ribbon may be awarded for performance over and above the line of duty in the name of the governor, to any person who, while a commissioned officer, warrant officer, or enlisted person of the Rhode Island national guard, serves honorably during any part of that emergency.
