§ 30-3-6. Unit funds.

Each unit of the Rhode Island national guard will be allowed the sum of one dollar ($1.00) per enlisted person per year to enable purchase of various supplies for use of each unit; provided, however, that no part of this fund shall be used to pay dues or assessments in any club or association. The sums so allowed shall be based upon the average membership in the units for the year ending June 30th in each year. The amount shall be paid to the commanding officer of the respective unit on July 1 of each year and placed in the unit fund.
