§ 30-3-40.2. Termination of educational benefits.
In the event of a resumption of a national system of selective service, the provisions
            of §§ 30-3-40 and 30-3-40.1 shall be terminated within a period of twelve (12) months of the effective date of
            this selective service and no further state funds shall be appropriated for educational
            benefits of Rhode Island national guard members, except for those guard members then
            in attendance under the terms of §§ 30-3-40 and 30-3-40.1.
