§ 24-3-20. Council action on commissioners' report — Recording.

The town council shall, after hearing the persons appearing to be heard, proceed to reject, confirm, or recommit the report of the commissioners in whole or in part, to the same or new commissioners, to be appointed by the town council for that purpose, who shall revise the report and make a return thereof without delay to the town council; whereupon the town council shall reject or confirm, or again recommit the report in the manner as provided in § 24-3-11, as right and justice shall require.
