§ 22-3-5. Grand committee for induction and election of officers.
Immediately after the organization of the senate and house of representatives and
            notice of it as provided in §§ 22-3-2 and 22-3-3, the senate shall join the house of representatives in grand committee, for the purpose
            of inducting the persons elected into their respective offices, and of electing general
            officers in case of a failure to elect by the electors at the general election.
