§ 22-3-15. Substitution of incumbents for absentees on lists.

In case any person whose name appears upon either of the lists made by the secretary of state as senator or representative from any senatorial district or representative district, by virtue of any certificate of election returned to the office of or received by the secretary of state, shall not be present at the time of calling the roll of members as provided below in this chapter, the list bearing the name of that person shall be further corrected, by the secretary of state in the senate and by the reading clerk in the house of representatives, by substituting for the person's name the n
