§ 20-2-6. Appropriation of license fees.

All moneys derived from payments received from freshwater fishing, hunting, and combination licenses and permits in accordance with the provisions of this chapter shall be deposited with the general treasurer and are appropriated to the department for the protection and propagation of fish and game; and the state controller is authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of any sum, or sums, as may be necessary, from time to time, upon receipt by him or her of duly authenticated vouchers presented by the director of environmental management; provided, however,
