§ 2-22-14. Constitutionality.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this chapter is for any reason judged
            invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, that judgment shall not affect, impair
            or invalidate the remainder of this chapter but shall be confined in its operation
            to the clause, sentence, paragraph or part of this chapter directly involved in the
            controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
