§ 2-20-3. Surveyor for Providence — Election — Term.
There is a surveyor of lumber for the city of Providence, who is well skilled in the
            surveying and measurement of lumber. The surveyor shall be elected in the month of
            February annually, by the city council of the city, and shall hold his or her office
            for one year and until a successor is chosen or unless the surveyor is removed sooner.
